The National High School Rugby Championship held at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka, Japan, has been held annually since 1963. It is the premier amateur rugby tournament in Japan, attracting approximately 400 high schools nationwide where rugby technique and spirit converge. With national television broadcasting reaching millions of viewers, it serves as the foundation of Japanese rugby culture and symbol of pre-professionalization amateur rugby development.
