Naha-te Karate

An ancient karate school developed in the Shuri district of Okinawa. One of three major karate lineages alongside Naha-te and Tomari-te. Cultivated by the warrior class in the castle town below Shuri Castle, it features refined movements and elegant forms. Greatly influenced modern Shotokan karate lineage and contributed to international karate development.

源自沖繩琉球王國時代唐手的打擊系武道。以松濤館流、剛柔流、糸東流、和道流四大流派為中心，在全球200多個國家推行，約1億人習練。2021年東京奧運會首次被列為正式競技項目。武道精神強調「空手無先手」的教誨，重視護身與人格培養。

源自沖繩的格鬥技空手中規模最大的流派。由松濤館創始人船越義珍所創立。以力道十足的拳法與踢技見長，強調型與對打訓練的深化。作為奧運競技項目，為全球最廣泛習練的空手風格。在國際舞台上被認可為日本武道的代表性傳承。

沖繩發祥的剛柔流空手一派，以柔與剛的融合為特徵。受沖繩古武道與中國拳法的深刻影響，重視傳統的型（kata）與實踐性的對打。作為守護沖繩武術文化的重要流派，至今仍得以傳承。

發祥於沖繩的拳法。以赤手空拳進行格鬥，以踢擊、打擊、衝拳等技法為特徵。在琉球文化的影響下發展，自1960年代以後傳播至世界各地。如今在五大洲都有習練者，並於2020年東京奧運首度被列為正式競技項目。
