Iwate Agricultural Waste Biochar and Soil Improvement Project

Simultaneously reduces agricultural waste burning, lowers greenhouse gas emissions, and advances sustainable agriculture—a cutting-edge regional model demonstrating triple environmental benefits.

將稻稈、稻殼等農業廢棄物炭化轉製為生物炭，實現土壤改善與碳素封存的技術。在新潟、千葉、宮城等農業地帶推廣應用，同步提升土壤肥沃度與降低農業部門CO2排放。作為地方農業循環型模式，正備受關注。

日本將米糠、稻殼、稻草等農業廢棄物轉化為生物炭的技術開發。生物炭可作為土壤改良劑、碳封存材料和淨水材料，實現廢棄物的完全資源化。該技術在全國農業地區的導入不斷擴大，已成為循環農業的象徵，同時改善土壤健康並降低碳排放。
