Tsumago Juku & Nakasendo Post-Station Preservation

Matsumoto Castle in Matsumoto, Nagano is one of Japan's five surviving original castles. Its five-story keep, built in 1504, is the oldest of its kind and designated a National Treasure. The surrounding Edo-period castle town is well-preserved, with Nakamachi Street's earthen-walled merchant houses particularly renowned. Reflects the history of Shinshu's development as an economic and cultural center.

Kurashiki Bikan District in Kurashiki, Okayama preserves an Edo-to-Meiji merchant town. White-walled earthen-walled merchant houses along the Kurashiki River with weeping willows express quintessential Japanese beauty. Once a cotton distribution hub, it pioneered private preservation efforts. Represents Japan's finest example of integrated preservation combining buildings, land, and water landscape.

加賀百萬石城下町，兼具傳統與現代風采的北陸文化都市。兼六園、金澤21世紀美術館、東茶屋街等地標見證了其深厚的文化底蘊。2015年北陸新幹線通車後，東京至金澤的交通時間大幅縮短，遊客數量隨之急增，成為日本重要的文化觀光據點。
