Modern Tanka Movement

A magical realism lineage in Japanese literature from late 20th to early 21st century. Originating from Kyoka Izumi's fantastic aesthetics, writers like Haruki Murakami and Yoko Ogawa developed techniques blurring boundaries between everyday and extraordinary.
