Aso Caldera

A magnificent volcanic region in Kumamoto centered on Mount Aso, which has one of the world's largest calderas. A castle built by Kato Kiyomasa in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Distinctive for its steeply angled, winding walls called 'musha-gaeshi' (warrior repeller).
