Intersecting the theoretical legacy of butoh pioneers like Tatsumi Hijikata with sound aesthetics, it explores avant-garde practice redefining relationships between performance and sound.

An electronic pop project led by Keigo Oyamada from Tokyo, started in 1993. Known for experimental, multi-layered sound design, Cornelius has also composed music for anime 'Paprika'. They have continuously innovated Japan's music scene by exploring new J-POP possibilities and fusing electronic music with Western influences.
